We’re heading to Primadonna!

Foreword Festival co-organiser Jackie Carreira will be at the Primadonna Festival this weekend, 26-28 July. Find the official Foreword Festival table in the Community Tent, and pick up information about our book fairs and events for the rest of 2024.

Sign up for our mailing list, take part in our flash fiction activity, and pick up our ‘how-to’ guide to selling your books at book fairs and festivals. (Suggested donation £3, which all goes towards publicity and set-up costs for our next events).

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to our Love Your Local Authors Book Fair in Bury St Edmunds yesterday! It was a fantastic event, and a brilliant opportunity to bring local authors together with local readers.

Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas from the Foreword Festival team!

We had a great day on Saturday at Festive Foreword, our Christmas Book Fair. 13 local authors shared their books and literary goodies with the readers of Bury St Edmunds, who supported us in spite of the terrible weather!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to the event, chatted to our authors, and bought books and gifts. It was lovely to meet you!

Our next book fair, Love Your Local Authors, is taking place at the Constitutional Club on Guildhall Street on February 11th. Come along and treat yourself – and the bookworm in your life – to signed editions, postcards, and unique literary goodies. There will be a licensed bar from midday, lots of warm and comfy seating – and entry to the event is FREE!

Festive Foreword

The Foreword Festival 2023 is over, but the organisers haven’t put their feet up yet! Join us for Festive Foreword, our 2023 Christmas Book Fair on Saturday 9th December at the Constitutional Club in Bury St Edmunds (IP33 1PR), and for Love Your Local Authors, our 2024 Valentines event, on Sunday February 11th.

At Festive Foreword, we’ll be showcasing a host of amazing authors from across East Anglia. Festive Foreword is a great opportunity to nab some fantastic gifts for book lovers, including signed editions, postcards, T-shirts and all kinds of literary goodies. There will be a licensed bar from midday, lots of warm and comfy seating – and entry to the event is FREE.
