Fast Foreword Flash Fiction Event

We’re really excited about this! We’ll be bringing flash fiction by local authors out of the Guildhall and into town in a proper fringe event – hopefully tempting listeners back to the Guildhall to the book fair and workshops.

Text to share (feel free to put your own spin on it – just make sure the facts are there!):

Fast Foreword: Flash Fiction by Local Authors
11am – 1.30pm, Saturday 7th October
FREE live readings by actors from QuirkHouse Theatre
No tickets required – follow the actors as they bring new stories to each venue!

We’ve launched the SF, Fantasy and Horror author panel – please promote if you can!

We are really excited to announce the Foreword Festival’s first official author panel, taking place on Sunday 8th October at 11am, in the garden at the Guildhall.

We’re celebrating Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror with fantasy author Bex Hogan, horror author Josh Winning, and sci-fi authors Matt Adcock and Rachel Churcher.

The panel will be sharing their experiences of writing genre fiction, creating imaginary places, and shaping other-worldly stories. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and all the authors will be signing copies of their books after the panel at other festival venues.

Bex Hogan and Josh Winning will be signing at the Buttermarket branch of Waterstones from 12.15, and Matt Adcock and Rachel Churcher will be appearing at the Foreword Festival fringe book fair at the Guildhall from 12.00.

This event is free – no tickets required. The panel is recommended for ages 15+.
